Karaka: Jupiter · Class: Panaphara · resources–relationships axis (2/7)
This is the house of accumulated wealth, family, speech/voice, learned knowledge, and sources of livelihood.

How does Moon work in this house?
Moon is a natural benefic planet. Benefic planets give their best results in kendra and trikona houses; in dusthana houses their results weaken.
Moon in the 2nd house: when does it strengthen, when is it strained?
Strengthens: in Taurus, as a bright Moon, when ruling the 9th or 11th (wealth yoga), with Jupiter's aspect. Strained: as 12th lord a wave of spending; in Scorpio or with Saturn or Rahu, savings can ebb and flow.
Mature face: warmth that moves people by voice and turns savings toward family. Raw face: an ebbing livelihood, tying income to mood.
